Hanninen takes the lead in ERC Rally Croatia 2012

The weather forecasts confused some of the drivers in the first two stages of Rally Croatia 2012. Finally the stages remain complete dry. In the first stage the fastest time se Juho Hanninen followed by Dimitar Iliev at +4.3 seconds. In the second night stage first is H. Gassner followed by Hanninen at +4.0 seconds. Hanninen again win stage 3 with 3.2 seconds faster than Luca Betti.

For this night remains one stage SS 4 Permani 2 8.9 km.

Rally Croatia is a part of the European Rally Championship starts on Thursday evening and finish on Saturday May 26th.
Location: Rijeka, Croatia
Surface: Asphalt
There are 4 stages in the first day as two of them during the night. The stages start at 18:53 local time as the last stage is far at 23:03. In Friday there are 6 stages with a new late evening stage. In the last rally day there are another 6 stages include the longest rally stage in the rally Buzet 1 and 2 with a distance of 22.61 km.
In these 16 stages includes 240.74 km SS distance, and total of 857.03 km or only 28.1% SS distance of total.

G. Basso win Rally 1000 Miglia 2012

Giandomenico Basso win Ford Fiesta S2000 win Rally 1000 Miglia 2012. Basso takes good advantage to Andreucci in the first day and raises it during the last day of the rally. Juho Hanninen has bad luck in stage 11 as slightly hit a wall and losses more than a minute.

Surface: Asphalt
The last rally winner in 2011 is Andreucci with Peugeot 207 S2000.

The longest rally stage is Colle San Zeno 32.51 km running twice in day 2.
Total: 2-days
SS distance: 256.63 km
Total rally distance: 896.23 km

Jan Kopecky win Janner Rally 2012

Stage 14 of Janner Rally 2012 was won by Jan Kopecky while in stage 15 Juho Hanninen lost 11 seconds and moved into third position overall. Pavel Valousek  won stage 15 and 16 as moved to sixth position overall.
R. Baumschlager lost 28 seconds in stage 17 as out of the road and moved into third position just 1 second behind Juho Hanninen. R. Baumschlager problems continue in the last rally stage as he lost another 36 seconds and moved into fourth position overall. Juho Hanninen pushing hard and win the last rally stage with 18.3 seconds advantage. Jan Kopecky drive safety and win Janner Rally 2012.

Jan Kopecky takes the lead after Hanninen and Baumschlager spuns

The Leg 2 started with ice and wet surface. Juho Hanninen spun during the first stage of Leg 2. That caused only one second losing. D. Behalek by Czech won stage 12 with Subaru while Juho Hanninen finished 24th at 55.1 seconds. Hanninen mistakes allow R. Baumschlager (Austria) to take the leader position again. During stage 13 R. Baumschlager fuinished 20th as lost almost 27 seconds. He lost the overall leading position by Jan Kopecky. Raimund Baumschlager spun in stage 13 and moved to second position overall.

1. J. Kopecky (Czech) – Skoda Fabia S2000 01:59:15.3
2. R. Baumschlager (Austria) - Skoda Fabia S2000 + 2.4
3. J. Hanninen (Finland) - Skoda Fabia S2000 + 23.3
4. B. Harrach (Austria) - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX R4 + 47.0
5. V. Pech (Czech) - Mini John Cooper Works S2000 + 1:00.7
6. M. Stohl (Austria) Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX CNG + 1:43.1
Five stages remain to the end of the rally.



Juho Hanninen takes the Janner Rally lead

It was reporting for ice and snow over stage 8 while stage 7 was wet. Juho Hanninen pushing hard as won stage 7 and 8 closing the gap with R. Baumschlager to 11.2 seconds. After the service park Juho Hanninen won the both special stages 9 and 10, as take the overall leading position.

2. R. Baumschlager (Austria) - Skoda Fabia S2000 +0:13.0
3. J. Kopecky (Czech) – Skoda Fabia S2000 +0:34.0

5. B. Harrach (Austria) - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX R4 1:04.3
6. M. Stohl (Austria) Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX CNG +1:33.7
