Sebastien Loeb is the rally leader in Germany after 3 stages in Day 1.
The flying Frenchman win the three morning stages in Germany and is without competition in Rally Germany 2012. Petter Solberg is far at more than 13 seconds while Mikko Hirvonen loses time in stage 2 and currently is 5th overall. Mikko explains: "I just don't have a good feeling and don't have any rhythm. I'm really struggling. I'm just being too cautious all the time. It's not a good drive at all. I'm not just cautious on the gravel, on other places as well. I just don't have good confidence now."
Other Rally comments:
Latvala: "This is a rally where Sebastien is super strong, I don't expect to be able to fight with him, but still I'm a little bit down about the speed."
Loeb: "It was okay, a good drive, no mistakes. It's difficult here in Germany, especially in the vineyards, with only two passes on the recce because everything is new. I tried not to make any mistakes and not to do too much, and it was okay."
P. Solberg: "It looked good but I had a small problem and that's why we lost quite a lot. This can happen sometimes. But it's okay, we're doing the best we can."

Results after SS 3:
1. S. Loeb 41:22.1
2. P. Solberg +13.1
3. J. Latvala +18.8
4. T. Neuville +25.5
5. M. Hirvonen +28.0
6. D. Sordo +34.9

There are another 3 stages to the end of Day 1 in Germany. Total there are 15 stages for the whole rally.
