In the first rally without Loeb, Ogier replaces Loeb at the top after SS 9 in Mexico

Sebastien Ogier starts Day 2 of Rally Mexico 2013 with stage win with 5.0 advantage to Mads Ostberg.
This is the first rally without Sebastien Loeb.
Jari-Matti Latvala and Evgeny Novikov are the big losers by the start of the day. The first day stage is El Cubilete 1 with distance of 21.91 km. Latvala hit a rock 500 meters by the start and early exit the rally with front suspension damage. The rock probably is flicked into the middle of the road by the prior car.
Novikov is with a electronic problem with his Ford Fiesta. Novikov lost 8 minutes to recover the electronic problem in the stage.
Chris Atkinson also has problems as he explains: “We clipped a rock in the inside of a corner. It felt like a puncture but it looks okay.”
In the next stage 5 Mads Ostberg wins the stage followed by Ogier at half a second.
In stage 6 Sebastien Ogier extend his rally lead. Mads Ostberg lost 13.7 seconds in El Chocolate 1 30.57 km.
In the last stage before the service park the city stage Ogier is the fastest man followed by Neuville at +0.3 seconds only.
Sebastien Ogier continue to dominant after the service break with new stage win.
In stage 9 Las Minas 2 15.31 km Mads Ostberg finished first followed by Hirvonen.

2. M. Ostberg (Ford Fiesta RS WRC) +18.9
3. M. Hirvonen (Citroen DS3 WRC) +27.1
4. T. Neuville (Ford Fiesta RS WRC) +32.3
5. D. Sordo (Citroen DS3 WRC) +1:37.1
6. N. Al-Attiayh (Ford Fiesta RS WRC) +2:11.5

There are 4 stages to run to the end of Day 2.
