In SS 10 Sisteron – Col de Fontbelle – Thoard (36.85 km) Sebastien Ogier extends his advantage with 11.4 seconds by Bryan Bouffier.
Third in the stage is Mads Ostberg.
Andreas Mikkelsen was out of the road in the stage and lost almost 5 minutes in the stage. He explains: In a very slow left hand corner, I felt I was going really slow. We drove a lot on ice yesterday, but this grip level was completely different. We let Jari-Matti Latvala through later.
Bouffier: I try to drive well, the special was not so bad. There was quite a lot of water on the road, unfortunately we were over careful. The car is very good, on the stage before I made it a bit stiffer and the car was not so good, so I change it back and it was ok.
In the last stage for the day SS 11 Clumanc - Lambruisse (20.77 km) Bouffier lost another 28 seconds by Ogier as he explains that is driving without pace notes. The stage winner is Latvala followed by Ogier at 3.9 seconds. Kris Meeke finished the stage third.
Bouffier: This stage was not good, we were driving without any pace notes. We have lost during the recce and have no pace note for this stage. So I have used notes from Dominique Savignoni. Not the best way to finish the day, but if we can finish the day in second place, that is good.
Latvala: I enjoy, it was a nice stage, nice run. It was tricky, nice twisty, level places. Nothing too extreme.
Ogier: Quite nice, it was okay not so much risk to finish the day. This day was much better than yesterday. Tomorrow it looks like it is going to be a difficult one. Up to now I am happy.
