A great start for Volkswagen in Rally Sweden after the first 4 stages all Volkswagen cars at the top. The first position is for Sebastien Ogier / J. Ingrassia, second position for A. Mikkelsen / M. Markkula and third for Jari-Matti Latvala / M. Anttila. The Estonian driver Ott Tanak is fourth at +8.3 seconds by the leader Ogier.
After the tenth position are the drivers Kris Meeke, Robert Kubica, Elfyn Evans in a very bad beginning in Rally Sweden.
Comments: E. Evans:  It's not a stage for the faint hearted… Nothing spectacular but I think it was ok.
M. Ostberg: Difficult, I really did not find the pace I wanted. I had a lot of understeer on this stage, but I feel I lose a lot of time on many places.
K. Meeke:  I am not worried about the time. That is the most fantastic experience. From the recce it has changed so much. I think that is just so fantastic. I feel like a child at Christmas.
