SS2: Ogier win the stage and now is the only leader of rally

Sébastien Ogier (Volkswagen Polo R) won SS2 (Soconcho – Villa del Dique I) with 1s3 of gap over Hayden Paddon (Hyundai i20). Dani Sordo (Hyundai i20) finished third 2 seconds behind the french driver and now shares the second place of overall classification with his New Zealander teammate.
The three-time world champion managed to win against the attack of the Hyundai drivers and won the first stage on Friday. Paddon demonstrated a high level one more time and finished just 1s3 behind the French driver. Dani Sordo, who had yesterday shared first place with Ogier, finished 2 seconds behind the winner. Now he shares second place with Paddon. The other Volkswagen Motorsport drivers Andreas Mikkelsen and Jari-Matti Latvala finished in 4th and 5th place, climbing to the same positions in the overall standings of YPF Rally Argentina 2016. Argentinean Marcos Ligato had a good performance during the 24,71kms of stage and was 9th in the overall standings 36s6. The local driver is ahead of another 5 WRC. WRC2: Nicolas Fuchs won his second consecutive stage and remains as leader. Evans is second in the overall 5s3 behind the driver of Perú. Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari is third 26s2 behind the leader.
