WRC Rally Argentina 2018 - Ogier takes the lead

Sébastien Ogier (Ford Fiesta RS WRC) was the fastest at the first special stage on Friday, Personal Las Bajadas – Villa Del Dique I. The French driver, who is now leading the overall, finished the 16, 55 km in 8:55.8 and it’s ahead the Norwegian Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundaii i20 Coupé WRC) by 3.9, while Jari Matti Latvala (Toyota Yaris WRC) is in the third place, 5.6 away from the winner.

The fourth position went to the best driver at last night’s Super Special, Thierry Neuville (Hyundaii i 20 WRC), who now is at that same position at the overall, whereas Kris Meeke (Citroën C3 WRC), one of the favourites for this rally, broke his front left tyre and is now in the fifth position. Ott Tanak, the Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT driver, lost 20 seconds after a spin.
