There is a great battle between Petter Solberg and Sebastien Loeb for the second place. Petter wins stage number 17 while Loeb win stage 18. The difference between the both drivers is 0.1 second in favour for Loeb one stage ago. In the last stage Sebastien Loeb takes 0.8 seconds advantage to Solberg.  
Finally in the Power Stage Petter Solberg lost the battle as Loeb takes the second place. The big boy Jari-Matti Latvala is the rally winner in Wales 2012.
Ott Tanak stopped in stage 17th as his front right wheel is missing by his Fiesta. Ott Tanka was sixth overall when he was pushed out of the rally.

Latvala win is number two for 2012 after the snow win in Sweden.

Sebastien Loeb replace Petter Solberg during this morning stages and moved to second place. Jari-Matti Latvala continue to lead ahead the 8-times champion Sebastien Loeb.

Loeb comment: “It’s a going a bit better, the grip is better and we changed the set-up of car. We were not so fast yesterday; hopefully it will be better today.
Solberg said: “It’s working very well for him, he’s found something extra.”
Some problems for Ostberg who said: “I’m trying everything I can, we cannot do anything before service so we have to push.”
Latvala: “We had a good feeling, which is also good for the Power Stage if you think about that. I was not so relaxed this morning but now the feeling is coming.”

Problems with the gearbox for Chris Atkinson who’s indicator do not work and the shift too.

Sebastien Loeb tries to battle with Petter Solberg as the distance with Latvala is too much to cut in the rest 6 stages.

Ford World Rally Team with strong progress in Wales. The both Ford drivers are at the top at in Wales. Loeb could not respond to Latvala speed as Loeb says that he will try to battle for the second place. Petter Solberg reported for some small problems with the car settings set up too low to the ground.
Latvala comments during the Saturday rest: “We haven’t changed so much but we’ve changed the balance of the car at the rear and it’s going well.”
