The French team of Citroen Total is the big winner in New Zealand. The both drivers make a battle for the first place in an absent of competitors.
The Power Stage points come to Ford World Rally Team while Loeb is third.
The dominant of Citroen is huge this season. This is the fifth Loeb victory this season by seven rallies.

In the day two Petter Solberg move to third position ahead Evgeny Novikov. The both Citroen drivers continue in more than minute and half advantage to Ford World Rally Team.
Comments:
Solberg said: "I am very satisfied. We are back on the podium and just kept it clean and on the line all day with no risks. You never know tomorrow, I won't be doing anything crazy but the two guys up the front are fighting for the win so you never know what will happen."
Novikov said: "I'm pleased with our result today and we showed everybody what we can do. The conditions today were so mixed so we didn't take any risks because the guy in front is experienced and he is a factory driver so there was no point to take stupid risks and miss out on some good points."

The Citroen drivers are again with the best strategy. Mikko Hirvonen is second at 4 seconds by the 8-times world champion.
In stage 7 Jari-Matti Latvala who try to catch the Citroen leaders made a mistake in a corner. He try to cut the corner but out into the fence and needed by spectators to get back on the road. That cost him more than 4-minutes.
