The rally starts on Thursday with SS Kineta 25.24 km. In the next 3 days there are total 22 special stages. There are not so long stages this year as the first one on Thursday is the longest stage in the whole rally. Some of the stages are the well know stages by the recent years.
There are 409.47 km in rally distance and total 1661.39 km that is 24.65% SS distance.
In the entry list Jari-Matti Latvala back after the missing of Rally Argentina due too his cross-country skiing incident. Henning Solberg is also here are the miss of the recent rallies. There are total 17 WRC cars.
The last rally winner in 2011 is Sebastien Ogier followed by his teammate in 2011 Sebastien Loeb.

Sebastien Loeb wins Philips Rally Argentina 2012

Sebastien Loeb triumphs in Rally Argentina 2012. The Frenchman wins the rally after problems in day 2 for Petter Solberg. Petter Solberg wins the Power Stage today. Petter Solberg remain sixth overall after problems for Daniel Sordo with Ford in the last Power Stage. Dani out of the rally after suspected broken alternator belt.

The 8-times world champion Sebastien Loeb is the rally leader in Philips Rally Argentina 2012. The teammate Mikko Hirvonen with Citroen is second at +7.2 seconds. Petter Solberg moved to 9th position overall during the afternoon stages in Argentina. Petter Solberg win stages 10, 11 and 12 as pushing fast to gain points for the championship standing.
Thiery Neuville win the super special SS13 Super Especial 2 (6.04km) 4.3 seconds faster than Dani Sordo with Ford Fiesta RS WRC.
