Mikkelsen lead to Kopecky with 3.6 seconds ahead the last stage while the engine problem cause him almost 32 seconds delay and lost the first place.
Comments in the last stage: Mikkelsen: “I had no engine power, it was misfiring all the way. There was no power at all and it’s very disappointing because I was so close to my first win on Tarmac. It’s a shame. We felt it at the end of the second last one but there is nothing we could do.” Kopecky: “I heard he has some problems with the engine. That’s a pity because it was a nice battle the whole weekend. Winning because of his problem does not make me so I happy.” Final Results:

The both drivers Jan Kopecky and Andreas Mikkelsen change the leaders positions during the day 1. No one else can reach the both pretenders.
At the end of day 1 Jan Kopecky leads with minimal difference of 1.2 seconds. Results after Day 1:

In the shakedown today with the best time is Andreas Mikkelsen (1.26:9 min) second is Jan Kopecký with +0.5 sec and third is SeppWiegand with +1.2 seconds slower than Andreas.
In the two days rally is schedule all 15 stages in total rally length of 240.92 km, 519 km liason, and total length of 760 km, with 31.7% rally length.
The longest stage is in day 1 Artenara 1 and 2 with length of 24.67 km.
The big pretenders for the rally are Andreas Mikkelsen and Jan Kopecky.

The Norwegian wins Rally SataAcores Portugal in a battle with JuhoHanninen.
Andreas Mikkelsen won SS 10 with 1.7 seconds faster than JuhoHanninen.
Bryan Bouffier spin in stage 10.
Comments on SS 10:
A.Mikkelsen: “This was a nice stage, such a pleasure to drive, it’s fantastic. But we have to keep the pressure on and not relax. When you relax it goes very much slower so we try to keep a good pace.”
J. Hanninen: “I really tried. It was slippery a few times and I lost the line but I couldn’t do much better. I will try to keep the pressure on him.” SeppWiegand (SkodaFabia): “In some parts it was very loose and the car was too much oversteer so I lost a bit of time.”
Andreas Mikkelsen is again the stage winner in stage 11. JuhoHanninen used hard compound tyres that caused some delay caused by the warm weather.
Bryan Bouffier is third in the stage after Hanninen.
SS 12 the super special stage new wins for Andreas Mikkelsen while Hanninen is again second.
SS 13 with ten stages wins for Mikkelsen. Andreas is without competition in Acores.

The final stage 14 of Rally SataAcores Portugal is winning by JuhoHanninen as Mikkelsen drive safety with 2.3 seconds delay. Overall Results:

Andreas Mikkelsen continues to lead after the end of day 2.
Bruno Magalhaes: SS 4: “It was difficult, very slippery. Sometimes you have grip, other times it is not much. I have to improve the traction because the car is always oversteering.”
In stage 5 the second in the overall standing JuhoHanninen spin with a high speed. He lost more than 10 seconds in a slippery downhill section.
Bruno Magalhães reported a “big, big moment” near the stage 5 start as lost precious seconds challenging the third place.
Stage 6 was the last stage for Bruno Magalhães who is out of the home rally. The seven kilometres stage for the Portugal star was the last for the rally as he went off the road and stopped on the roof. The both crew out of the rally without injury.
The leader Andreas Mikkelsen continues to grown his overall advantage to JuhoHanninen.
Stage 8 was cancelled due too bad road (mud and water) caused by weather. Results after SS 9 (Day 2):
