Sebastien Ogier with 33 seconds advantage at the end of Day 2

In the short SS 10 stage Los Mexicanos 2 of 9.76 km the first four finished within one second. Mads Ostberg is first followed by Thierry Neuville who's presentation in Mexico is excellent.
In the day longest stage SS 11 El Chocolate 2 of 30.57 km Sebastien Ogier extend his overall lead with 10.4 seconds to Mikko Hirvonen and 11.2 to Mads.
Sebastien Ogier wins the Super Special stage 1 and 2 at the end of the day 2 in Mexico.
Overall results after the end of Day 2 SS 13:
1. S. Ogier (Volkswagen Polo R WRC) 1:57:46.9
2. M. Ostberg (Ford Fiesta RS WRC) +33.0
3. M. Hirvonen (Citroen DS3 WRC) +42.0
4. T. Neuville (Ford Fiesta RS WRC) +1:07.1
5. D. Sordo (Citroen DS3 WRC) +2:40.1
6. N. Al-Attiayh (Ford Fiesta RS WRC) +3:24.1

In the first rally without Loeb, Ogier replaces Loeb at the top after SS 9 in Mexico

Sebastien Ogier starts Day 2 of Rally Mexico 2013 with stage win with 5.0 advantage to Mads Ostberg.
This is the first rally without Sebastien Loeb.
Jari-Matti Latvala and Evgeny Novikov are the big losers by the start of the day. The first day stage is El Cubilete 1 with distance of 21.91 km. Latvala hit a rock 500 meters by the start and early exit the rally with front suspension damage. The rock probably is flicked into the middle of the road by the prior car.
Novikov is with a electronic problem with his Ford Fiesta. Novikov lost 8 minutes to recover the electronic problem in the stage.
Chris Atkinson also has problems as he explains: “We clipped a rock in the inside of a corner. It felt like a puncture but it looks okay.”
In the next stage 5 Mads Ostberg wins the stage followed by Ogier at half a second.
In stage 6 Sebastien Ogier extend his rally lead. Mads Ostberg lost 13.7 seconds in El Chocolate 1 30.57 km.
In the last stage before the service park the city stage Ogier is the fastest man followed by Neuville at +0.3 seconds only.
Sebastien Ogier continue to dominant after the service break with new stage win.
In stage 9 Las Minas 2 15.31 km Mads Ostberg finished first followed by Hirvonen.

Ogier leads after day 1 in Rally Guanajuato Mexico 2013

Rally Mexico 2013 started with the first two evening stages Monster Street Stage Guanajuato 1.05km and Parque Bicentenario 2.6 km. Thierry Neuville open the rally with stage win followed by Mads Ostberg at +0.3 seconds and the same time for Nasser Al-Attiyah.
The second stage Sebastien Ogier set the fastest time followed by Mikko Hirvonen at +0.1 seconds and Mads Ostberg at +0.5.
The weather in Mexico is dry and hot.

2. M. Ostberg (Ford Fiesta RS WRC) +0.3
3. T. Neuville (Ford Fiesta RS WRC) +0.6

First VW victory in WRC with Sebastien Ogier

The French driver Sebastien Ogier wins Rally Sweden 2013. Ogier wins the rally in competition of Sebastien Loeb that is the first VW victory in WRC.
In the last day Loeb win the first stage as cut the distance to 23.6 seconds with Ogier in the overall results.
Henning Solberg lost his eight place as move to tenth overall due too alternator problems.
Jari Ketomaa do not start the day due too health problems.
In SS 18 the stage win is for Sebastien Loeb followed by Ogier. In the stage Dani Sordo move to eight position.
Sordo said:  I have nothing interseting to say, we changed the gearbox and the rear, but it's not much better.
In SS 19 Kirkener 1 7.16 km Loeb cut the overall distance to Ogier to 20.7 seconds.
In the next SS 20 Kirkener 2 Ogier takes the lead with 3.9 seconds to Loeb. The stage bring a bad luck to Evgeny Novikov who rolled in the stage and lost over 10-minutes.
Novikov comment: “It was a tricky corner. It was blind and I came too fast into the bend. It was very narrow and we rolled. It took a long time to get back on the wheels. It was my mistake, I braked too late.”
Dani Sordo crashed in the stage, as hit a rock. He was eight overall.
Mads Ostberg win SS 21 Finnskogen 2 16.82 km followed by Ogier at +1.3 seconds.
Latvala comment:  I really can't go as fast as Ogier. We have the same car, but to be honest, I really don't know why.
In the Power Stage SS 22 Torsby with a distance of 19.26 km Sebastien Ogier is first second is Latvala at +1.0 second, third is Ostberg at +3.2 while Loeb is sixth. Henning Solberg spun in the stage but keeps his eight position overall.
Comments:
Ogier:  I had amazing feeling all the weekend, really amazing. We had to push all the time, Sébastien Loeb was really fast. We tried a lot with our team during the year, but we didn't expect we would win already in here. Great!
Loeb: We lost a lot of time in qualifying and following road position, there were also few mistakes, but then we had good pace. But it was not enough to Ogier.
Ostberg:  It was full of ups and downs, but we had great battle with Jari-Matti and I have very good feeling now.
Latvala: Disappointment for sure, we need to get relaxed and switch to Mexico.
